Can It Happen to You...?

"It’s a beautiful campus. Classes aren’t spread around the building and the garden adds a nice homey touch."

- Tony Brown, Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts student.

Admissions

About the Culinary Training Process

Texas Culinary Academy welcomes applications from students who want to succeed in culinary training. We look for students who demonstrate an interest in hospitality careers and who can benefit from the culinary training we offer. Students should apply for admission as soon as possible in order to be accepted for culinary training in a specific program and starting date.

All applicants are required to complete a personal interview with an Admissions representative, either in person or by telephone, depending on their distance from TCA. Parents and/or significant others are encouraged to attend. This gives applicants and their families an opportunity to meet the school's faculty and staff, see its equipment and facilities, and ask questions about the curriculum and career objectives.

Personal interviews also enable school administrators to determine whether an applicant is a candidate for enrollment in our culinary training program.

Who Attends TCA?

TCA brings students together from around the world who share a passion for the culinary arts. Our students' backgrounds are rich and diverse. Some may be making a career change; some may have recently graduated from high school or transferred from a community college or university; while others may be experienced in the food industry and seeking to improve their skills. Either way, our Le Cordon Bleu Culinary training can enrich your knowledge of the industry.

International Students

International students are encouraged to apply for admission. All applicants must meet the same admission requirements as U.S. citizens.

Envision your future with innovative culinary training. Apply to Texas Culinary Academy today, or contact us for complete admissions requirements.

Housing Information

Texas Culinary Academy works with Collegiate Housing Services (CHS) to offer comfortable and affordable shared student housing in apartments near campus.

The typical housing configuration is a furnished, two-bedroom, one or two-bathroom apartment, with utilities paid, and shared by up to four same-gender Texas Culinary Academy students. In most cases, each student will share a bedroom with another student although a limited number of private bedrooms may be available at a higher cost. Each student signs an individual lease which may be tailored to the school's scholastic terms.

Collegiate Housing Services will be on campus during Registration and Orientation days to assist students in signing leases and settling into their new residences. For more information, contact CHS here.
